Digitakt II Techno Performance (Project 1)
Hello Elektron and Digitakt II fam!
This download contains an energetic high-paced techno live set with all of my crafted samples, sounds, kits and 31 patterns. This project represents my signature sound, which is a mixture of raw underground techno and funky elements you find in house and tech house.
If you want to know more about how I craft transitions, drops and how I design certain sounds, you can take all the time you need and explore the different patterns. If you like what you hear, you can save my sounds individually or as kits as a starting point for your own techno productions.
How to install the project
Please note: Even though it is unlikely, to avoid losing any of the projects that you already have on your Digitakt II, I recommended to make a backup copy of all your projects and save them onto your computer before you proceed. Better save than sorry.
Before you begin, make sure you have updated your Digitakt 2 to the latest firmware version and downloaded the latest version of the Elektron Transfer application.
- Connect your Digitakt 2 via USB to your computer and open the Elektron Transfer application
- Unzip the downloaded file 1ST PROJECT.dt2prj
- Drop the project file 1ST PROJECT.dt2prj into the Transfer application window.
- A window will appear with the message: How do you want to organize the included samples? Select IMPORT ALL SAMPLES.
- A second window will appear. Check the box at the bottom: IMPORT SAMPLES TO THEIR ORIGINAL FILE PATH.
- PRESS OK.
- LOAD the project, explore, experiment and create
